There's been plenty of trade rumors surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft, especially after insider Gerry Dulac seemingly hinted at a potential trade involving one of the team's edge rushers.

In this mock draft scenario, the Steelers find a trade partner in the New England Patriots for Alex Highsmith, picking up the 63rd overall pick in the second round in the process.

Pittsburgh addresses the future of their wide receiver room in the first round, drafting a talented playmaker in Cooper to form one of the league's top wide receiver trios with DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman.

The Steelers opt to replace Isaac Seumalo, who signed with the Arizona Cardinals this offseason, with an excellent fit in Bisontis.

Acquiring the 63rd overall pick from New England in exchange for Highsmith and a 2027 fifth-round pick, the Steelers land a potential Day 1 starting offensive tackle in Tiernan. Given major injury concerns regarding the future of Broderick Jones, Tiernan made too much sense to pass up.

Pittsburgh continues to revamp their defensive line with the massive, 6-foot-5, 315-pound Jackson, offering vital depth behind Cameron Heyward, Derrick Harmon, Keeanu Benton, and Yahya Black.

The Steelers go best player available with the 85th overall pick, selecting Rivers, who many regard as having a high floor for a potential Day 2 cornerback prospect.

Selecting Nussmeier with the last of Pittsburgh's Day 2 picks was too great an opportunity to pass up, as the underrated prospect will be given the opportunity to compete with Will Howard as the potential long-time answer to the Steelers' quarterback woes.
