The Steelers made a change on their offensive line after their rookie minicamp.

The Pittsburgh Steelers made a notable tweak to their offensive line depth chart just days after wrapping up rookie minicamp, signing former Michigan center Greg Crippen and waiving offensive lineman Sataoa Laumea in a corresponding move.

Crippen, who tried out for the team over the weekend, brings a wealth of college experience from his time with the Wolverines. He started all 13 games at center last season and appeared in 41 games overall during his career in Ann Arbor. While Zach Frazier is locked in as the Steelers' starting center this season, and Ryan McCollum provides additional depth, Crippen adds another layer of competition and versatility to the interior line.

Laumea, a sixth-round pick by the Seahawks in 2024, started six games as a rookie before being waived last summer. He later spent time on the Saints' practice squad and signed with Pittsburgh in January. His departure opens up a roster spot as the Steelers continue to evaluate their young offensive line talent heading into the offseason program.
