The Pittsburgh Steelers have selected Arizona State Max Iheanachor in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.
Iheanachor started 12 games at right tackle in 2025 for the Sun Devils and was a second-team All Big-12 selection. H’e started games at both right and left tackle. He came to America from Nigeria at the age of 13, playing soccer growing up instead of football.
With the injury concerns to Broderick Jones, combined with the fact that his fifth-year option likely won’t be picked up, tackle was on the board for the Steelers, and that’s the direction they end up going.
