With the Joe Hartmann Diamond Classic heating up and entering its second round this Saturday, expect this tournament to play a major role in shaping the rankings over the next few weeks. It's already delivering some thrilling matchups and big momentum shifts.

Here's a look at the top five teams in this week's Mean 15 (records and stats through Wednesday's games):

1. Gloucester Catholic (15-3) — The Rams are on fire, winning their eighth straight game with a 5-1 victory over Sterling in the Diamond Classic. Seeded No. 1 in the tournament, they'll face 13th-seeded Vineland on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Clearview.

2. St. Augustine (14-4) — The Hermits only played one game last week but made it count, routing Woodstown 13-3 in the Diamond Classic opener. Senior Hank Biglin went 2-for-2 with a run and three RBIs. Next up: a 10 a.m. home game Saturday against Delsea.

3. Bishop Eustace (17-3) — The Crusaders have won 12 straight after a dominant 15-3 win at Moorestown. Senior first baseman Mason Rosenberg is crushing it with a .436 batting average, 11 home runs, and 34 RBIs. They'll take on Mainland in the Diamond Classic second round Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Augustine.

4. Haddonfield (15-3) — The Bulldogs are red hot with 10 consecutive wins, including a statement 9-5 victory over previously unbeaten Northern Burlington.
