Adrianna Siedenburg isn't just having a standout senior season—she's rewriting the script entirely. The Metuchen star has transformed from a reliable varsity contributor into a bona fide superstar, and her recent tear through the regular season has captured the attention of softball fans across New Jersey.
This week, Siedenburg earned the MyCentralJersey.com Softball Player of the Week honors for Week 5 of the 2026 season, and her numbers tell the story. The four-year letterwinner and second-year starter went an incredible 11-for-15 at the plate last week, driving in eight runs. Her highlights included a 5-for-6 performance with a double and a home run in a win over Middlesex, followed by a 3-for-3 showing in a hard-fought loss to top-ranked Sayreville.
But her hot streak extends far beyond just one week. Through May 7, the Wagner-bound center fielder is an astonishing 20-for-26 over her past seven games, with three doubles, five home runs, 11 runs scored, and 23 RBIs. For the season, she's batting .530 with eight doubles, a triple, six homers, and 35 RBIs, while crossing the plate 19 times. Those are the kind of numbers that put a player in the conversation for All-State honors.
Metuchen coach Tracey Orcutt summed up Siedenburg's impact perfectly: "Adrianna is an amazing softball player and an even better individual. Watching her compete and excel on the field is truly special because of the passion, determination, and confidence she brings to every game. You will not find a more dedicated or selfless team player, as she is always willing to do whatever is needed for the success of the team. Her leadership, work ethic, and positive attitude make her an incredible role model and an invaluable part of our program."
For fans and aspiring players alike, Siedenburg's journey is a reminder that hard work and passion can turn a solid player into a superstar. Whether you're hitting the diamond or just cheering from the stands, her story is one to watch—and maybe even inspire your own game.
