The first Ohio High School Softball Coaches Poll is out, and the reigning Division IV state champions are picking up right where they left off. The Kenton Ridge Cougars, riding a staggering 44-game winning streak and a perfect 11-0 record this season, have been unanimously voted No. 1 in D-IV, capturing all 11 first-place votes. Their dominance isn't just a state story—they're also turning heads nationally, currently ranked No. 16 by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association and No. 12 in the MaxPreps Top 25.

In Division I, the competition is heating up with several local powerhouses in the mix.
