The Buffalo Bills selected UConn wide receiver Skyler Bell with the 25th pick of the fourth round (125th overall) in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Before transferring to Connecticut, the New York native started his collegiate career with the Wisconsin Badgers. In three seasons with the Badgers (2021-2023), the 23-year-old racked up 69 catches, 755 reception yards, averaging 12.5 yards per catch for six touchdowns.

In his final two years with Connecticut, Bell thrived and caught the country’s attention. In 2024, the wideout hauled in 50 passes for 860 yards and five endzone appearances.

As for the 2025 stretch, Bell left nothing on the table, highlighting his route-running and deep threat skills. In 12 games, the former Husky tallied a career-high 1,278 receiving yards. Not to mention, Bell set a new program single-season record of 101 receptions and 13 touchdowns. Additionally, the senior led the country with seven 100-plus yard games.

To end the 2025 campaign, Bell ranked No. 3 in receptions, No. 2 in reception yards and No. 2 in reception touchdowns.

With an impressive year, the country acknowledged Bell’s outstanding performance and once again made program history.

Bell joins a Bills team that is looking for more from the receiver position. Their leading receiver topped out at 719 yards last year, meager considering the arm talent of Josh Allen and the offensive prowess of Joe Brady, the new head coach of the Bills who previously served as the offensive coordinator.

This is a good situation for Bell. His former UConn teammate Joe Fagnano is still waiting to hear his name called as a draft hopeful who was invited to the combine.
