What a night at the Kingsmeadow Stadium! Manchester City pulled off a stunning comeback to punch their ticket to the FA Cup final, setting up a Wembley showdown with Brighton & Hove Albion. It's the kind of dramatic performance that reminds us why we love the beautiful game—and why City are the team to beat this season.

The drama started early. Just eight minutes in, Chelsea's Erin Cuthbert fired a low shot past City's goalkeeper Khiara Keating, giving the home side a dream start. Moments later, it looked like Chelsea would double their lead when Sam Kerr found the net, but the goal was controversially ruled out after the ball was deemed to have gone out of play before Alyssa Thompson's cross. With no VAR available, City got a huge let-off.

City, already crowned Women's Super League champions, showed their resilience. But Chelsea kept pushing, and Kerr eventually got her goal just before the hour mark. Keating fumbled Lauren James' cross, and the Australian striker pounced to make it 2-0. At that point, it seemed like Chelsea might be getting their revenge for losing the league title to City.

But champions don't quit. With just four minutes left in regulation, substitute Mary Fowler scored with her first touch, pulling one back for City and igniting hope. Then, in stoppage time, Khadija "Bunny" Shaw—rumored to be heading to Chelsea next season—fired past Hannah Hampton to level the score and send the game to extra time.

If that wasn't enough, Shaw popped up again in extra time, heading home Lauren Hemp's cross to complete the comeback and make it 3-2. If the Jamaican striker hadn't already secured a move to Chelsea, those clutch goals surely boosted her negotiating power!

Andrée Jeglertz's team held on for the win, and now they'll head to Wembley as favorites to lift the cup against Brighton. For City fans, this was a night to remember—a testament to their fighting spirit and the kind of performance that makes you proud to wear the sky blue.
