It was a day to remember at Christiansburg High School last Friday, as seven standout student-athletes officially committed to continuing their athletic careers at the collegiate level by signing their National Letters of Intent.
Leading the charge were four football players, each heading to different programs across Virginia. Sean McMurray will suit up for Shenandoah University, while Elias Litos is headed to Southern Virginia University. Parker McAllister will take his talents to Roanoke College, and Izaiah Cotto will play at Averett University. These young athletes have worked tirelessly on the gridiron, and their hard work has clearly paid off.
But the celebration wasn't limited to football. Rinnah Good will bring her spirit and skills to the cheerleading squad at Emory & Henry University. On the track, Riley Larimer will run both track and cross country at Roanoke College, continuing a proud tradition of distance running in the area. And on the diamond, Mason Cullop will play baseball at Concord University, ready to make his mark on the mound or at the plate.
This group of Blue Demon athletes represents the best of what high school sports can offer: dedication, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence. Whether you're a football fan, a track enthusiast, or a baseball lover, seeing these local talents take the next step is inspiring for the entire community.
Congratulations to Sean, Elias, Parker, Izaiah, Rinnah, Riley, and Mason on this incredible achievement. The future is bright for these Christiansburg stars, and we can't wait to see what they accomplish at the next level.
