On May 6, the worlds of metal and combat sports collided in a spectacular—and brutal—showdown. Slaughter to Prevail frontman Alex Terrible launched his ambitious 'Blood 4 Blood' concept, blending live music with bare-knuckle fighting. The result? A night of pure adrenaline that ended with a knockout, but left fans buzzing.

It all started back in September, when UFC heavyweight Alexander Volkov was spotted moshing in the crowd at a Slaughter to Prevail concert. Volkov has his own big fight this weekend against Waldo Cortes-Acosta, but earlier this week, all eyes were on Terrible as he stepped into the ring.

Alex Shikolai—better known to metalheads as Alex Terrible—fought Cameron Delano in the main event of 'Blood 4 Blood.' Here's the twist: he had just finished performing a high-energy set with his band moments before throwing down. Talk about a multi-tasking athlete.

Terrible came out swinging, even dropping Delano at one point. But the momentum shifted, and after several knockdowns, the Slaughter to Prevail frontman was stopped before the final bell. Despite the loss, he kept his head high. "Of course, I'm very sad, I lost. It sucks. Sometimes s— happens. But at the same time, I feel so happy because we made this Blood4Blood event," he said.

The event featured four fights and performances from four different bands, creating a raw, electric atmosphere that blended two intense worlds. For Terrible, it was a passion project—even if the outcome wasn't what he hoped for.

Now, he's shifting gears. Terrible announced plans to step away from fighting for a while to focus on new music with Slaughter to Prevail. And there's no rest for the wicked: the band is scheduled to play the Welcome To Rockville festival in Florida this weekend.

The crossover isn't stopping here. BKFC has announced another music-collaboration event later this year, with fights scheduled ahead of Megadeth's show at Sturgis Buffalo Chip on August 8. If this trend keeps up, we might see more musicians trading mics for gloves—and fans will be here for every punch and power chord.
