The Senior Bowl Hall of Fame added five new members to its prestigious ranks on Sunday night, honoring players and coaches who have left an indelible mark on college football's most iconic all-star showcase.

Headlining the 2026 class is former Auburn quarterback Jason Campbell, who returned to Mobile 21 years after his standout performance in the annual game. "It's wild that it's been that long," Campbell reflected before the induction ceremony at the Grand Hotel Golf Resort and Spa in Point Clear. "Time flies. But it's a great honor."

For Campbell, the Senior Bowl held special significance long before he became a first-round NFL draft pick. "It was one of my dream games that I always wanted to play in," he said. "Even when I was a kid, the Senior Bowl was something I definitely wanted to have an opportunity to participate in." The game gave him a chance to showcase his skills in front of NFL decision-makers, a tradition that continues to launch careers every year.

The Hall of Fame reached back more than five decades to honor another quarterback. Boston University's Harry Agganis, who won the MVP award at the fourth Senior Bowl in 1953, was enshrined posthumously, recognizing a legacy that has stood the test of time.

Joining Campbell in the Class of 2026 were Alabama safety Roman Harper, a Prattville High School product who became a two-time Pro Bowler; LSU defensive tackle Anthony "Booger" McFarland, a dominant force in the trenches; and legendary NFL coach Norv Turner.

Turner becomes the eighth coach inducted for his work on Senior Bowl sidelines. After serving as an NFL assistant, he led three Senior Bowl teams as head coach—in 1997, 1998, and 2005—winning each time. "It's having the best players," Turner said with a smile, crediting the talent on the field. He recalled advice from coaching icon John Robinson: "We're going to treat this like our team, and we're going to go in there and give these players a chance to show their abilities."

For football fans and gear enthusiasts alike, the Senior Bowl remains the ultimate proving ground for future NFL stars—and these five inductees represent the best of what the game has to offer.
