The Seneca Football Indians have officially closed the book on a legendary season. This week, the team, surrounded by friends and family at the Seneca Sports Complex, held a ring ceremony to celebrate their 2025-26 Class 3 State Championship—a perfect, glittering finale to a year of hard work.

The championship victory was secured on December 5th, 2025, in a thrilling 33-26 battle against Lift for Life Academy. This win marks the program's third state title in its history, a testament to the enduring culture of excellence in Seneca football.

This wasn't just a one-game triumph; it was the culmination of a dominant 13-1 season. The senior class, in particular, cemented an incredible legacy, also capturing their fourth district and conference championship during their tenure.

Head Coach Cody Hilburn captured the moment's significance, stating, "What our senior group has done is leave a legacy for our younger kids and showed them what it takes to win. From our leadership, to our players, our coaches and our community, it’s just so special to be a part of."

For any athlete, moments like these are the ultimate reward—the tangible symbol of sacrifice, teamwork, and victory. It's the kind of achievement that fuels a community and inspires the next generation to suit up and chase their own glory.
