A heavily-rotated Bayern Munich were held to a 3-3 draw at home by last-placed Heidenheim on Saturday, days out from their return Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain.- Champions League dreaming - Elsewhere, Tiago Tomas scored deep into stoppage time to snatch 10-man Stuttgart a 3-3 draw at top-four rivals Hoffenheim.

Bayern Munich may have their eyes on Paris, but they nearly stumbled in their own backyard. A heavily rotated Bayern side was held to a dramatic 3-3 draw by last-placed Heidenheim on Saturday, just days before their crucial Champions League semi-final second leg against Paris Saint-Germain.

With one foot already in the French capital, coach Vincent Kompany made seven changes to the lineup that fell 5-4 in a wild first leg on Tuesday. Stars like Harry Kane, Joshua Kimmich, and Luis Diaz started on the bench, and it showed early on. Heidenheim, fighting for survival, stunned the Allianz Arena with a 2-0 first-half lead thanks to goals from Budu Zivzivadze and Eren Dinkci.

But Bayern showed their trademark resilience. Just a week after roaring back from 3-0 down to beat Mainz 4-3, Leon Goretzka sparked the comeback. His dipping free-kick—his first from a dead ball since 2017 with Schalke—pulled one back before halftime. Then, after the break, he nodded home from a corner to level the score.

Just when it looked like Bayern had weathered the storm, Zivzivadze struck again with 14 minutes left, putting Heidenheim back in front and threatening to hand the hosts a rare league defeat. But substitute Michael Olise had the final say, firing a shot in the 10th minute of stoppage time that bounced off the post and in off goalkeeper Diant Ramaj's back to snatch a point.

"You can see how fired up everyone is," said Goretzka after the match. "We're looking forward to the game against PSG, and we want to reach the final."

The draw keeps Bayern's domestic campaign on track, but all eyes now turn to Wednesday's blockbuster showdown with the defending champions. For fans, it's a reminder that even when the stars rest, the fight never stops.
