Sean Brady recently made some shocking claims about his UFC 322 fight against Michael Morales.

Sean Brady dropped a bombshell revelation about his UFC 322 fight against Michael Morales, claiming the matchup was nearly scrapped just hours before he stepped into the Octagon.

The welterweight showdown took place this past November at Madison Square Garden in New York, and it didn't go Brady's way—Morales delivered a first-round knockout that looked picture-perfect. But according to Brady, there was more to the story than just what fans saw that night.

Speaking candidly with MMA Fighting, Brady admitted he wasn't fully locked in for the fight, and now we know why. "I won't say too many details, but something came up with the medicals," Brady revealed. "We found out on Thursday that the fight might not happen. It was up in the air for the next two days, and ultimately, Saturday night, right before I left for the fight, is when I found out I was still fighting."

Imagine the mental toll of not knowing if you're stepping into the cage until just hours before fight time. Brady owned up to how that uncertainty affected his focus: "It was hard to stay fully locked in. But that was my fault. We didn't know literally a couple of hours before we left for the arena if I was still fighting or not."

The loss snapped Brady's three-fight winning streak and knocked him out of title contention for now. But fighters are resilient, and Brady is already looking ahead. He's scheduled to face Joaquin Buckley (21-7) at UFC 328 on May 9 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey—a chance to get back in the win column and remind everyone why he was climbing the welterweight ranks in the first place.
