The reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks have navigated a busy offseason with key free-agent departures, but the projected starting lineup for 2026 should have fans feeling confident about a title defense. After losing players like Kenneth Walker, Riq Woolen, Coby Bryant, and Boye Mafe to new teams, the Seahawks have turned to a mix of returning stars and emerging talent to keep the roster championship-ready.

According to Bleacher Report's Gary Davenport, the projected offense looks remarkably similar to last year's Super Bowl-winning unit. Sam Darnold returns at quarterback, with Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Rashid Shaheed, and Cooper Kupp forming a formidable wide receiver trio. The entire offensive line—featuring Charles Cross and Abraham Lucas at tackles, Grey Zabel and Anthony Bradford at guards, and Jalen Sundell at center—is back intact. Tight end A.J. Barner also returns. The only change? Jadarian Price steps in for Walker at running back, giving the offense a fresh but familiar feel.

On defense, the Seahawks project to be just as dominant. The line features DeMarcus Lawrence and Uchena Nwosu at edge, with Leonard Williams and Bryon Murphy II anchoring the interior. Linebackers Ernest Jones IV and Drake Thomas return, while the secondary sees Devon Witherspoon and Josh Jobe at cornerback, and Julian Love, Bud Clark, and Nick Emmanwori at safety. Jobe, who started much of 2025 in place of a struggling Woolen, brings proven experience. The big question mark is whether Clark can step up as a reliable starter, but with the core of this defense intact—especially the linebacker and defensive line units—Seattle looks poised to contend again.
