Double Olympic champion Duncan Scott delivered a masterclass in versatility, powering to victory in the men's 200m individual medley at the Aquatics GB Swimming Championships in London. The win underscores his status as one of Britain's most formidable all-around swimmers as he builds momentum for a huge summer.

Scott, who is tied as the second most-decorated British Olympian in history, clocked a commanding time of 1:56.08 to secure the title and his place at this summer's European Aquatics Championships. Having claimed silver in this grueling event at both the Tokyo and Paris Olympics, this performance signals he remains a prime contender on the world stage. He finished ahead of Evan Jones in second and Max Litchfield in third.

"My strokes and the transitions between them felt pretty good," Scott said post-race. "I'm happy—that's a good place for me to be at this time of the season." The Scottish star, a gold medalist in the 4x200m freestyle relay at the last two Olympics, continues to showcase the blend of speed, endurance, and technical precision that defines a true medley specialist.

The evening session also featured thrilling sprint victories. Oliver Morgan blasted to a new personal best of 24.36 to win the 50m backstroke, while Eva Okaro claimed her second title of the week in the women's 50m butterfly, breaking the 26-second barrier for the first time with a PB of 25.95.

"I'm really happy with that," said Okaro. "The 50m is a bit of a fun one for me... I'm also quite good at a splash and dash, so why not!" With British titles awarded across 36 events, the championships in London are proving a crucial proving ground for the nation's aquatic talent.
