
Northern Cambria 7, Cambria Heights 3: In Patton, the undefeated Colts scored four times in the top of the seventh and held off the Highlanders Friday.
Parker Shutty had two hits and drove in three runs. Zak Kirsch hit a double for Northern Cambria (8-0). Brady Hoover pitched six innings, with nine strikeouts and three walks.
Carson Lobick and Harrison Snyder each doubled for Cambria Heights.
Conemaugh Valley 10, Glendale 5: In Flinton, Lance Masser hit a two-run homer in the first innings, and Joey Toth had three hits, including a double and a triple, as the Blue Jays beat the Vikings.
Nate Stiffler, Kyron Fields and William Palmer each had two hits for Conemaugh Valley. Fields and Donald Brown.
North Star 7, Blacklick Valley 6: In Ferrellton, a three-run sixth inning allowed the Cougars to beat the Vikings.
North Star’s Noah Holcomb was 3-for-4 with two runs scored. Bryson Durst and Max Pristas each added two knocks, including a double. Brady Meyers also doubted. Durst struck out nine over 6 2/3 frames.
Blacklick Valley’s Eli Sheesley went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and struck out nine batters over 5 1/3 innings. John Mourey added two hits. Aiden Boring doubled and drove in three runs. Nick Garver also doubled.
Bishop McCort Catholic 14, Homer-Center 4 (6): The host Crimson Crushers built a 10-run advantage through three innings and won in mercy-rule fashion over the Wildcats.
Jon Delia, Isaiah Lieb and Brady Page each had two hits for Bishop McCort. Erik Radkowski and Nate Denhard each drove in three runs.
Brayden Rado had three hits for Homer-Center. Rado, Drew Fisher and Dom Shimko each had a double.
Clearfield 16, Westmont Hilltop 10: The visiting Bison tallied eight runs in the top of the second and three in the third to pull away from the host Hilltoppers.
Westmont’s four-run fourth pulled the home team close, but the Bison added insurance with a four-run sixth.
Brady Gartner and Anthony Oakley each had two hits for Westmont Hilltop. Gartner doubled twice and drove in six runs. Oakley hit a triple and had two RBIs.
Clearfield’s Hayden Rumsky and Jayce Brothers each had two hits. Rumsky tripled.
Bald Eagle Area 3, Richland 1: The visiting Eagles scored three runs in the top of the first, and pitcher Kaleb Irion made the support stand.
Irion struck out seven and walked one while scattering five hits. Bald Eagle Area’s Graysen White had two hits and scored a run. Irion had a hit and scored a run to help his cause.
Richland’s Braden Yoder and Dom Shank each hit doubles. Yoder drove in the previously undefeated Rams’ lone run.
Penn Cambria 7, Bishop Guilfoyle Academy 0: In Altoona, Caden Gibbons had two hits, with a triple and three runs scored, as the Panthers beat the Marauders.
Drake Talko had a double, and Evan Latterner hit a triple for Penn Cambria.
