Chestnut Ridge needed extra innings to edge out Penns Valley in a thrilling 7-6 victory that kept fans on the edge of their seats. The Lions forced extras with a clutch sacrifice fly from Carter Ickes in the seventh inning, then sealed the deal in the bottom of the ninth. Ickes drove in three runs on the day, while Blake Conlon also collected two hits. Brody Halkovich and Tyler Yatta each doubled to add extra-base power. On the mound, Kole Clark was lights out, striking out four over four scoreless innings of relief. Penns Valley countered with strong performances from Rylan Birge, who added three stolen bases, and Parker Feltenberger and Brayden Kurtz, who each had two hits.
Richland kept its hot streak alive with a 7-3 win over Clearfield, marking their fourth straight victory and seventh in their last nine games. Dom Shank led the charge with a 3-for-3 day at the plate, including a double and an RBI. Braden Yoder and Caden Robertson each chipped in two hits, while Ryan Ozog doubled to keep the offense rolling. Clearfield's Jayce Brothers went 3-for-4, and Landon Brady added two hits, but it wasn't enough to slow down the Rams.
In Patton, Penn Cambria exploded for 15 runs in a five-inning mercy-rule win over Cambria Heights. Jace Davison was unstoppable, going 3-for-3 with three doubles, three runs, and three RBIs. Evan Latterner added two hits, including a double and three RBIs, while Logan Price crushed a home run and drove in three. Cambria Heights showed fight with a five-run fourth inning, led by Anthony Swander's two hits and doubles from Bryce Lewis and Harrison Snyder, who also drove in three runs.
McConnellsburg edged Berlin Brothersvalley 5-3 in a back-and-forth battle. Reese Alexander and Shaffer Earley doubled in the top of the fifth to put the Spartans ahead, but Berlin tied it in the bottom half on hits from Cohen Clark and Joshua Brinton. Hoyt Glenn delivered the game-winning single in the sixth, while Levi Leonard, Clark, and Logan Karwatsky each had two hits for Berlin.
North Star made quick work of Harmony with a 13-2 win in five innings. Max Pristas was a two-way star, going 2-for-2 with a double and three RBIs while striking out nine over five innings on the mound. The Cougars drew an incredible 17 walks, with Noah Lasky driving in three runs and Brady Meyers adding two RBIs. Noah Holcomb walked four times to fuel the offense.
Rockwood overpowered Forbes Road 10-4, powered by Garrison Hale's 3-for-3 day with two walks and five RBIs. Jack Sembower and Lane Svonavec each added two hits and combined for five RBIs. Eli Show was a menace on the bases, scoring four runs and stealing four bags, while also striking out five over 5 1/3 innings on the mound.
Windber wrapped up the roundup with a 10-3 win over Richland, as Rylee Baer put on a show with a 3-for-4 performance featuring a triple, a home run, three runs, and three RBIs. Nici Costlow scored three times to help the Ramblers cruise to victory.
