Brock Rechsteiner's got a 141 and 2/3rds chance of making the New Orleans roster.

The New Orleans Saints just added a wide receiver with some seriously unique genes—and we're not just talking about his football pedigree.

On Tuesday, the Saints signed undrafted rookie Brock Rechsteiner to their 90-man roster, giving the former Jacksonville State standout a shot to compete for a spot during training camp and preseason. On paper, it's a standard low-profile signing: Rechsteiner posted 52 receptions over his final two college seasons in Conference USA and recently attended a rookie minicamp with the Titans. But his story goes far beyond the stat sheet.

Brock Rechsteiner is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner—a man known as much for his legendary promos and amateur math skills (yes, really) as for his in-ring dominance. That means when you're battling Brock for a roster spot, your chances of winning "drastic go down," as his father might say.

Wrestling runs deep in this family. Brock's cousin, Bronson Rechsteiner (son of Scott's brother Rick Steiner), was a powerhouse running back at Kennesaw State before becoming a WWE star under the name Bron Breakker. Now Brock is looking to blaze his own path, first on the gridiron and eventually in the squared circle—he already has an NIL deal with WWE and leans into his wrestling roots on social media.

While his college production was modest, Brock brings intriguing tools to the Saints' receiver room. At 6'2" and 210 pounds, he has good size, straight-line speed in the 4.4-second range for the 40-yard dash, and that Steiner-family physicality that helps him fight through contact. It's a combination that could earn him a longer look beyond just one preseason.

With 90 players competing for 53 roster spots, the odds are stacked against any undrafted free agent. But if there's one thing we've learned from the Steiner family legacy, it's that Brock Rechsteiner is not normal. He's a genetic freak with a 141 and 2/3rds percent chance of making an impact.
