The New Orleans Saints have added some serious pedigree to their wide receiver room—and we're not just talking about football. Following an impressive showing at the team's rookie minicamp over the weekend, undrafted free agent Brock Rechsteiner has officially signed with the Saints for a longer look during training camp.
If the name sounds familiar, it should. Brock is the son of Scott Steiner, a legendary WWE and WCW superstar who, alongside his brother Rick, formed the iconic "Steiner Brothers" tag team. The duo was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2022. But for now, Brock is trading the squared circle for the gridiron.
Rechsteiner spent the last three seasons at Jacksonville State in Conference USA, where he steadily built his resume. While his overall numbers—53 catches for 629 yards and seven touchdowns—may not jump off the page, his 2025 campaign showed real promise. He hauled in 36 receptions for 383 yards and a team-best five scores, proving he can be a reliable target in the end zone. At 6-foot-1 and 222 pounds, he's built like a physical receiver who isn't afraid to mix it up. He also brings value as a run blocker and on special teams coverage—a surefire way to catch a coach's eye during camp.
Speed? He's got that too, clocking a 4.48 in the 40-yard dash. After going undrafted, Rechsteiner first tried out with the Tennessee Titans before landing his second chance with the Saints this past weekend. He's also no stranger to the wrestling world, having previously signed with WWE's NIL (Next In Line) program. Meanwhile, his cousin Bron Breaker (Bronson Rechsteiner), son of Rick Steiner, made his WWE debut in 2020.
For now, though, Brock is all in on football. He'll join a receiver room that already features first-round pick Jordyn Tyson, fourth-rounder Bryce Lance, and sixth-round selection Barion Brown. The competition will be fierce, but if his family history is any indication, Rechsteiner knows a thing or two about stepping up when the spotlight is brightest.
