Meanwhile, New Boston Glenwood's Mya Truitt delivered a pitching masterclass, throwing a complete game one-hitter with 11 strikeouts in an 18-1 rout of Hannan. Truitt nearly secured a perfect game and also shined offensively, going 3-for-4 to help her own cause in a dominant team performance.
On the baseball diamond, the Northwest Mohawks showcased a balanced attack, combining strong pitching with explosive hitting for a 15-2 victory over South Gallia.
