The former UFC bantamweight champion recently broke her silence on a scathing criticism from flyweight legend Demetrious Johnson, and she's making it clear: she hasn't forgotten a thing.

It all started back in May 2017, just months after Rousey's devastating 48-second TKO loss to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207. At the time, Rousey had retreated from the public eye, still reeling from back-to-back defeats that also included a shocking knockout loss to Holly Holm. During a Q&A with Sports Illustrated, Johnson was asked about handling potential disappointment in his own career. Instead, he turned the spotlight on Rousey with some harsh words.

"You look at Ronda Rousey. You got your ass beat, grow the f*ck up," Johnson said. "It happens. It's mixed martial arts. I don't want to be like that. If I lose, I'll be like, 'I lost.' … Everybody f*cking loses. It's part of the sport. Grow up. Look, Ronda, you lost two f*cking fights in a row, and you made more f*cking money than the women's roster. You'll be fine. Don't worry about it."

For nine years, Rousey stayed silent—until now. In a recent Instagram video for All the Smoke, the conversation shifted to hypothetical fight picks. When the interviewer mentioned Johnson's name, Rousey's demeanor turned serious. "F*ck you, DJ, OK?" she said. "I was totally cool about you, and I put you over, and you were being—you said some nasty ass sh*t about me."

The timing of Johnson's original comments adds another layer of irony.
