The second night of WrestleMania 42 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas started with a battle of behemoths. It ended with a stunning result and an even more shocking gesture by the vanquished Brock Lesnar. The ladder match provided all sorts of thrills and spills.
The crowd was thrilled to see Rhea Ripley defeat Jade Cargill. In the main event, Roman Reigns and CM Punk were brilliant before the former finished the latter to win the championship belt, again.
There was speculation among the WWE Universe that Night One was underwhelming. That only turned up the pressure on the Superstars of the back half to deliver spectacular performances.
A look at the matches and results in Night Two of WrestleMania 42.
This was the past big thing meeting the future big thing. A pair of absolute physical freaks opened the card as Brock Lesnar faced Oba Femi. There were German suplexes applied by Lesnar to his younger opponent. In the end, and it was the end apparently in more ways than one, Femi put a chokeslam on Lesnar and finished the former champ off with a sit-out powerbom.
After the match, Lesnar took off his gloves and boots and left them in the ring, signifying the end of his wrestling career. Is it true or a swerve? Only time will tell.

The six participants did anything and everything, abusing their bodies in a ladder match that had the Allegiant Stadium crowd roaring. The champion Penta delivered a scary spot landing JD Mcdonagh on a propped up ladder. Penta eventually outlasted everyone to keep his Intercontinental title.

Williams made a spectacular entrance as he robe continued to unfurl the length of the runway into the ring. The crowd was behind Williams and booed Zayn throughout. The champ tried to finish Williams with a Helluva Kick but the younger fighter was ready and hit the Trick Shot to win the United States Championship.

Dominik Mysterio entered on a throne and wound up thrown for a loss. The Demon Finn Balor got off to a tremendous start and had Mysterio on the defensive early. Mysterio tried to battle back using all sorts of chairs. However, this was to be Balor's day as he placed Mysterio on a table, hit his patented Coup de Grace driving his opponent through it before pinning him.

Some levity during the card saw Rob Gronkowski and San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle, both big WWE fans, have a chug off.

Back to the WrestleMania card. Despite help from others, Jade Cargill was unable to handle Rhea Ripley. The crowd was super-pumped for Ripley's title win. She's absolute rock star, whether with a belt. However, it was time for her to reign again and she hit Rip-tide on Cargill, ending her evening and time with the championship. The finishing segment looked, um, clumsy at best.
