The Boston Red Sox are desperate for offense, but will be without the services of their top potential offensive weapon on Saturday for the fourth straight game in Roman Anthony.
Boston will face off against the Baltimore Orioles with the first pitch scheduled for 12:05 p.m. ET. Boston is rolling with Ceddanne Rafaela, Wilyer Abreu, and Jarren Duran in the outfield on Saturday with Anthony missing the action with a sore back.

The longer Anthony is out, the more concern will grow. He hasn't played in a game since April 21 against the New York Yankees. Initially, it was expected that the soreness would only knock Anthony out for one game. The hope initially was that Anthony would be able to return the next day on Thursday, in the series finale against New York.
Before going down with his back injury, Anthony was slashing .225/.361/.325 with one homer, four RBIs, two stolen bases, 16 walks, three doubles, one triple and 11 runs scored in 22 games played.
Boston is going to need Anthony back as fast as possible if it wants to truly turn this offense right now. Boston currently is tied for last place in the league with just 15 homers. The Red Sox are 26th in the league in runs scored right now with just 95 runs scored.
