Manu Koné has established himself as one of Serie A's standout midfielders over the past two seasons, but his time in Rome may be coming to an end. The French international's future has become a hot topic as the summer transfer window approaches, with Roma facing pressure to balance the books.

The Giallorossi are navigating Financial Fair Play constraints, and selling key assets like Koné could provide a much-needed capital gain before the June deadline. Failure to do so could leave the club in a precarious position, making the 23-year-old's departure increasingly likely.

Ahead of Roma's clash with Parma, manager Gian Piero Gasperini addressed the situation head-on. "Modern football no longer features unsellable players anywhere," Gasperini admitted. "Perhaps only in the top, top, top teams in the world. When faced with unmissable offers, everyone, except a very few, is available. But I don't know if these unmissable offers are that common; they're truly rare."

The coach's comments signal a pragmatic acceptance of the market realities. While Gasperini would prefer to keep Koné, he acknowledged that exceptional bids could change the equation. "He's a strong player, and I'd like him to continue playing for Roma. Why would I say I'd like him to leave? No, I hope he continues. Then, if an unmissable offer were to arrive—perhaps one that would allow him to do other things—we'll see."

This stance may extend beyond Koné, with defenders Evan Ndicka and Mile Svilar also potentially on the market if suitable offers come in. Inter Milan are reportedly monitoring Koné's situation closely, while Newcastle United have also been linked with the dynamic midfielder.

For Roma fans, the message is clear: in today's football economy, every player has a price—and Koné's could be the key to the club's financial stability this summer.
