The third annual Rocky Mountain ATV Love Moto Stop Cancer Golf Tournament has done it again—raising more than $150,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in a weekend that perfectly blended sport, community, and charity. Held just ahead of the Monster Energy Supercross season finale at Rice-Eccles Stadium in North Salt Lake City, Utah, the event drew 148 golfers to Eaglewood Golf Course, marking another milestone for a tournament that keeps growing bigger and better each year.
What started as casual weekend rounds among industry insiders has evolved into a powerhouse charitable event. The live auction alone brought in $83,000, with five luxury items fetching nearly $10,000. Among the most sought-after pieces were a designer racing jacket signed by motocross legends Ricky Carmichael, Haiden Deegan, and Ken Roczen, plus an electric guitar autographed by Cooper Webb and country star Brantley Gilbert during the star-studded Nashville Supercross weekend.
"We'd always have people from the industry come out and we would play golf together on the weekends, just for fun, for Supercross," said Chase Cook, Product Spokesperson at Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. "And we thought, you know what, why don't we do a charity golf tournament?"
That simple idea quickly gained momentum. Cook and his team approached company founder Dan Thomas, who gave them an initial budget. From there, they reached out to Feld Entertainment and St. Jude—and everyone jumped on board. "It quickly went from what we thought it was going to cost to do it to: 'Hey, founder, we need a lot more money,'" Cook added with a laugh.
The extra investment paid off. In just three years, Rocky Mountain ATV, with support from Feld Entertainment, has transformed a fun weekend tradition into one of the most lucrative charitable events of the Supercross season. The 2026 edition filled its tee sheet so fast that organizers had to turn people away. A big reason? The athletes and industry members keep coming back year after year.
"Doing it the first year was kind of like, oh, go golf, cool, whatever," said Grant Har—a sentiment that quickly changed as the tournament's reputation for excellence and impact grew. For fans and participants alike, this event proves that the motocross community's passion extends far beyond the track, making a real difference for children and families fighting cancer.
