The Rockledge Raiders are building a track and field dynasty in Brevard County. On April 10th, both the boys and girls teams cemented their legacy by sweeping the Cape Coast Conference championships, extending remarkable winning streaks that showcase the program's depth and consistency.

The girls' team captured an almost unbelievable 15th consecutive conference title, a testament to sustained excellence. Not to be outdone, the boys' squad secured their fifth straight championship, proving Rockledge's dominance is a complete team effort.

Senior sprinter Christopher Gordon was the undeniable star of the meet, achieving a spectacular triple crown. He blazed to victory in the 100-meter dash (10.78), the 200-meter (21.56), and the 400-meter (48.39), demonstrating elite speed and endurance that left the competition in his wake.

But track is the ultimate team sport, and Rockledge's strength shone across every discipline. The boys' 4x800 relay team of Logan Crouch, Brody Johnson, Lucas Raymundo-Wulf, and Noah Childrey delivered a commanding performance with a time of 8:09.84. In the field events, Tory Love dominated the discus (45.02m) while Desmond Scott soared to win the high jump (1.93m).

The girls' team victories were a masterclass in versatility. Laila Dupuch powered through the 400 meters (57.66), and Azaria Waller was a dual threat, winning the 800m (2:15.95) and anchoring two victorious relay teams. The 4x800 squad and the 4x400 team, featuring Waller, Christina Jones, Reyna Gaines, and Dupuch, showcased flawless baton passes and raw speed.

Reyna Gaines added a win in the 100m hurdles (14.74), while Kalaijah Baker ruled the jumps, taking both the high jump (1.52m) and long jump (5.24m). Kahleina Vereen rounded out the field event dominance with a win in the triple jump (10.76m).

This complete team performance—from sprints to distances, jumps to throws—highlights the culture of winning at Rockledge. As these athletes push their limits, they're not just winning titles; they're setting a standard of excellence for the next generation of Raiders to chase.
