Big news out of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, as Riverdale High School four-star wide receiver Brylan Oduor has officially committed to Auburn University, according to reports from May 2.

Standing at an impressive 6-foot-2 and 205 pounds, Oduor brings a combination of size and athleticism that makes him a standout in the 2027 recruiting class. The 247Sports Composite ranks him as the No. 16 player in Tennessee and the No. 51 wide receiver nationally—a testament to his rising star power on the gridiron.

Oduor's commitment is a major win for Auburn, especially considering the fierce competition he drew from other top programs. His offer list reads like a who's who of college football powerhouses, including SEC rivals Georgia, Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Mississippi State, and Kentucky. He also had offers from defending national champion Indiana, as well as Miami, Colorado, Michigan State, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Maryland.

Last season, Oduor showcased his playmaking ability at Blackman High School, hauling in 24 receptions for 484 yards and eight touchdowns as a junior. He then made a highly anticipated transfer to Riverdale during the offseason, adding even more firepower to an already talented roster.

Riverdale's 2027 class is shaping up to be a force to be reckoned with. Oduor joins defensive back Hudson Fuqua and tight end Sutton Gutting—a Ravenwood transfer—both of whom have committed to Mississippi State. Meanwhile, four-star quarterback Gavin Hampton and three-star defensive lineman James Stewart, another Blackman transfer, remain uncommitted and are sure to draw plenty of attention as signing day approaches.

For Auburn fans, landing a receiver of Oduor's caliber signals a bright future for the Tigers' passing game. Keep an eye on this young talent—he's one to watch on the field and, of course, in the latest gear from your favorite sports apparel collection.
