The Nebraska Huskers softball program made a powerful statement at the 2026 Big Ten postseason awards, securing three of the four major honors and proving they are a force to be reckoned with in the conference.

Headlining the Huskers' impressive haul is senior pitcher Jordy Frahm, who was named Big Ten Pitcher of the Year for the second consecutive season. Her dominance in the circle continues to set the standard for the conference, and this back-to-back recognition cements her legacy as one of the top arms in the nation.

Alongside Frahm, freshman sensation Alexis Jensen earned Freshman of the Year honors, an accolade that comes as no surprise given her electric debut season. Jensen also landed a spot on the Big Ten All-Freshman Team, showcasing her versatility as both a pitcher and utility player.

At the helm, legendary head coach Rhonda Revelle was named Big Ten Coach of the Year, a testament to her leadership in guiding the Huskers to new heights. Under her direction, Nebraska has become a perennial contender, and this award reflects the program's bright future.

But the recognition didn't stop there. The Huskers placed several players on the All-Big Ten Second Team, including Samantha Bland, Hannah Coor, Kacie Hoffmann, and Ava Kuszak. Additionally, both Coor and Frahm were named to the Big Ten All-Defensive Team, highlighting their excellence in the field. Emmerson Cope was also selected as Nebraska's sportsmanship honoree, rounding out a well-represented Huskers squad.

While the Huskers had a stellar showing, some fans and analysts wonder if a few more players were deserving of first-team nods. Regardless, this group has proven that Nebraska softball is on the rise—and they're just getting started.
