Report: Steelers will play Saints in Paris on October 25

This season, the Saints will host the NFL's first-ever regular-season game in France.

The NFL is taking its show to the City of Light, and it's shaping up to be a historic showdown. According to multiple reports, the Pittsburgh Steelers will face the New Orleans Saints in Paris on October 25, marking the league's first-ever regular-season game in France.

News of the matchup first broke via the @OzzyNFL account on Twitter, which has been steadily leaking schedule details ahead of the official announcement. Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer has since confirmed the report, adding credibility to what promises to be a marquee international event.

This game is part of a massive expansion of the NFL's global footprint. In 2026, nine games will be played on foreign soil: three in London, one each in Paris, Madrid, Melbourne, Germany, Rio de Janeiro, and Mexico City. That's nearly double the five international games played in 2025, and the league has even bigger ambitions.

Under the current Collective Bargaining Agreement with the NFL Players Association, the league can stage up to 10 international games per season—and the goal is to eventually reach 16. For now, Steelers fans and Saints faithful alike can start planning their trips to the Eiffel Tower, because this October clash is set to be a gridiron spectacle unlike any other.

All remaining international games not yet announced are expected to be revealed on Wednesday morning, so stay tuned for more details as the NFL continues to bring the game to fans around the world.
