The Aaron Rodgers–Pittsburgh Steelers saga has taken another twist, and for fans hoping for a quick resolution, the wait continues.
After weeks of speculation, 93.7 The Fan reported Thursday morning that Rodgers would be visiting Pittsburgh, fueling expectations that a contract was imminent. NFL Network confirmed the visit but urged caution, noting a deal wasn't guaranteed.
By Friday, Steelers General Manager Omar Khan admitted he didn't even know where Rodgers was. Then came the latest update from Mark Kaboly, the Steelers correspondent for The Pat McAfee Show: "From everything I can gather, there is no meeting scheduled or expected between Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers. I've reached out to a couple inside the building and nobody has seen him yet."
With rookie minicamp kicking off and media set to arrive Saturday, the situation remains fluid. "Maybe Rodgers will show later, maybe tomorrow, or maybe he won't," Kaboly added.
This uncertainty has become the norm with the four-time MVP. Rodgers has every right to decide his future on his own timeline, but the lack of clarity—and the gamesmanship that often accompanies it—leaves everyone guessing. For a Steelers team looking to solidify its quarterback room, the waiting game is far from over.
