The Yankees look to sweep the three-game series against Boston, after winning 4-0 in Game 1 and 4-1 in Game 2, getting a fantastic outing from Max Fried in the latter win. Fried pitched eight innings, allowing just three hits with nine strikeouts, while Amed Rosario took care of the offense, driving in all four runs. New York sends Cam Schlittler (2-1, 1.95 ERA) to the mound, as he looks to continue his season-long streak of allowing three earned runs or less in each start.
The Red Sox will have 23-year-old Payton Tolle (0-0, 0.00 ERA) making his season debut in what will be his fourth career start. The 6-foot-6 lefty out of TCU was drafted in the second round in the 2024 June Amateur Draft and alternated time as a spot starter and a reliever late in the 2025 season. Run support will be key, as the Red Sox have been anemic in their last four losses, scoring just four runs total.
This is a great MLB matchup that you will not want to miss; make sure to tune in and catch all the action.
