The Boston Red Sox have stumbled out of the gate this season, and their offensive woes are the main culprit. With a change at manager—Chad Tracy taking over after Alex Cora's departure—the team is searching for answers. Currently ranking near the bottom of the league in runs (24th), home runs (29th), and OPS (28th), the Red Sox need a spark, and one player stuck in Triple-A believes he can provide it.

Kristian Campbell, a once-promising prospect who made the Opening Day roster last year, is confident he can help. "Yeah, for sure. I definitely could," Campbell told reporters. "I feel like I'm going in the right direction right now. Whenever or if they ever make that decision, I'll be ready." After a hot start in his big-league debut—looking like a star in his first 10 games—Campbell struggled mightily over the next 57 contests, leading to his demotion. Since then, he's shifted to the outfield full-time while working on his swing.

In Triple-A this season, Campbell is hitting .273, though his power numbers still need improvement. He's been heating up, with hits in 20 of his last 22 games and a .298 average over that stretch. However, the Red Sox outfield is already crowded, so Campbell may have to wait for his chance. If Boston's offense continues to sputter, his growing consistency could make him a valuable call-up option.
