It's been less than 24 hours since the Boston Red Soxannounced that they'd fired longtime manager Alex Cora, as well as a number of coaches.

The move came after a 17-1 blowout win against the Baltimore Orioles.

The Red Sox conclude their three-game road set vs. their AL East foes on Sunday afternoon and will feature a very different-looking lineup under interim manager Chad Tracy.

"Today's starters." the team's official account posted on Bluesky.

Among the biggest differences is the return of 21-year-old star outfielder Roman Anthony.

The youngster missed the last four games due to a back injury and is the team's designated hitter on Sunday.

Anthony has moved out of his customary leadoff spot in the lineup and is hitting third. Anthony's been at the top of the starting nine in 21 of his 22 games this season and hasn't hit third since his 2025 rookie campaign.

One of the other notable changes is Andruw Monasterio getting the start at shortstop and Trevor Story sitting out.

The Boston Globe's Peter Abraham reported Sunday afternoon that Story is dealing with an adductor injury.

"Story is out with adductor soreness. With two day games and the travel they gave him a day off," the veteran Red Sox insider posted on Bluesky.
