England's Red Roses received a major boost ahead of their pivotal Guinness Women's Six Nations showdown against France this Sunday, with three key players returning from injury to the starting lineup. Lilli Ives Campion, Sadia Kabeya, and Maddie Feaunati have all been named in the starting XV for the high-stakes clash in Bordeaux, providing a timely injection of experience and power to the side.

The trio missed last weekend's thrilling 33-61 victory over Italy in Parma but are now fit and ready to take their places in the second row, openside flanker, and Number 8 positions respectively. Their return is especially crucial as England and France enter the match as the only two undefeated teams in the tournament, with the Red Roses sitting top of the table solely on points difference.

Head coach John Mitchell has made seven changes to the starting lineup, with Jess Breach, Claudia Moloney-MacDonald, Mackenzie Carson, and Sarah Bern also earning starts. The reshuffle sees Ellie Kildunne shift to full-back, while Breach and Moloney-MacDonald take up the wing positions. Carson and Bern will pack down at loosehead and tighthead prop, respectively.

The spine of the team remains strong and settled. Captain Megan Jones, who has played every minute of the Six Nations so far, continues her partnership with Helena Rowland in the centers. The half-back combination of Lucy Packer and Zoe Harrison remains unchanged for a third consecutive away match, providing continuity and rhythm in the key playmaking roles.

In the forward pack, Abi Burton starts at blindside flanker, joining ever-present hooker Amy Cokayne and lock Delaney Burns in a formidable engine room. The only injury-enforced absence is Kelsey Clifford, who misses out with a leg complaint.

"France are a quality side, and we've got a huge amount of respect for what they bring and the way they play the game," Mitchell said. "To face them in Bordeaux - in the heart of the south-west, a region so passionate about rugby with a vocal home crowd behind them - is exactly the sort of challenge the girls relish, embrace and walk towards. With that support comes expectation and pressure, and Francois has already laid down the challenge to his players."

The coach emphasized his team's growth throughout the tournament, adding: "This tournament has demanded adaptability and the ability to learn quickly from us throughout. The girls have stayed connected, composed and continued to grow within our new attacking identity. I'm proud of the way the players have competed for positions, pushed one another every day and earned the right to contest for the Championship."

Sunday's clash promises to be a defining moment in the Six Nations, with both teams vying for supremacy and the winner taking a giant step toward the title. For the Red Roses, the return of their three key forwards could be the difference-maker in what is sure to be a fiercely contested battle in the heart of French rugby country.
