The final whistle of the 2025/2026 Premier League season is almost here. As we enter Gameweek 37, this is your last real chance to make a decisive charge up the global rankings. With the title race hanging in the balance and relegation battles at their most intense, your FPL squad needs to be a perfect blend of trusted stars and bold differentials.

After the chaos of Double Gameweeks, GW-37 offers a cleaner slate with favorable single fixtures. If you still have free transfers in the bank, now is the time to use them. Focus on players with high-ceiling home matchups—the kind that can push your weekly total past that elusive 100-point mark.

Last week, my Wildcard squad delivered a respectable 67-point return, anchored by a solid defensive display. Using a 3-5-2 formation, I maximized the value of Gabriel, whose 11-point haul against West Ham proved why he remains the most essential defender in the game right now. While my midfield returns were modest at 17 points, the 24 points generated by Haaland and Welbeck kept my rank steady.

For GW-37, I’m sticking with the 3-5-2 formation, but I’m making one bold tactical call: handing the captain’s armband to Gabriel. Yes, most managers will back Erling Haaland or Bukayo Saka, but hear me out. Arsenal host a relegated Burnley side—a team that hasn’t kept a clean sheet on the road all season. If Gabriel can secure a clean sheet and add a trademark header from a set-piece, he could be the differential that skyrockets your score. It’s high-risk, high-reward, but that’s what this stage of the season is all about.

With two free transfers available, I’m in a prime position to strengthen my squad. Here are the two moves I’m considering to push for that 100-point target:

Option 1: Bring in Viktor Gyökeres for Welbeck. Gyökeres is the most-bought player ahead of the Burnley fixture, and after a 16-point haul against Fulham, he looks like a must-have for this weekend.

Option 2: Upgrade Cherki or Szoboszlai to Bruno Guimarães. The Newcastle star has averaged 7.8 points per start at St James’ Park, and facing West Ham at home is an ideal matchup for another big return.

Gameweek 37 is about making the right calls when it matters most. Trust your instincts, back your differentials, and let’s finish the season strong.
