Headlined by a pair of defensive linemen, here is a look at Alabama's top transfer portal additions from this past offseason.

Alabama's relentless pursuit of championship talent didn't stop with high school recruiting this offseason. To reload for the 2026 campaign, the Crimson Tide strategically raided the NCAA transfer portal, adding impact players on both sides of the ball. While key departures to the NFL draft and portal created holes, Nick Saban's program answered with a wave of proven collegiate talent. The question now is: which new arrivals will make the biggest splash in Tuscaloosa?

Headlining the influx are two defensive linemen poised to fortify the trenches. First up is Oregon transfer Keyon Green, who flashed serious potential as a rotational piece for the Ducks in 2025. He arrives with the tools and opportunity to blossom into a star on Alabama's defensive front, a perfect fit for the Tide's demanding system.

Joining him from the West Coast is USC's formidable lineman, Isaiah Thompkins. An elite starter for the Trojans last season, Thompkins brings immediate production and a playmaking pedigree, having notched three sacks and a forced fumble. He's expected to step into a massive role from day one, providing a disruptive force in the heart of the defense.

On the offensive side, the Tide secured a major talent in former Michigan lineman Michael Haywood. A top-rated recruit who was heavily pursued by Alabama out of high school, Haywood saw limited action with the Wolverines but possesses elite athleticism and potential. Now in Tuscaloosa, he's positioned to compete for a crucial starting role, bolstering an offensive line that always sets the standard.

Rounding out the top additions is NC State transfer wide receiver Julian Rogers. A key contributor to the Wolfpack's offense throughout 2025, Rogers brings reliable hands and route-running savvy to a receiver room looking for its next standout. His experience and production at the Power Five level make him an instant candidate to become a favorite target for Alabama's quarterback in the fall.
