The Los Angeles Rams are no strangers to life on the road, and the 2026 season will be no exception. As one of the few West Coast teams in the NFL, the Rams are once again set to rack up serious air miles—cementing their reputation as one of the league's most well-traveled squads.
According to Bill Speros of Bookies.com, the Rams will fly an estimated 34,847 miles in 2026, making them the second-most traveled team in the NFL. Only the San Francisco 49ers (38,105 miles) will log more time in the air. To put that in perspective, the Carolina Panthers will travel just 8,740 miles—the fewest in the league.
What's driving those miles? A Week 1 trip to Australia headlines the Rams' travel itinerary, along with cross-country flights to face the Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. While that sounds grueling, it's actually more manageable than last season, when the Rams made road trips to the Tennessee Titans, Eagles, Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers, and Atlanta Falcons—plus a London game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Interestingly, the Rams traveled a similar distance in 2025 (34,832 miles) without an Australia trip. That's because a stop in Baltimore before heading to London helped cut down on total mileage. This year, with the long haul Down Under, the numbers are once again near the top of the league.
For Rams fans, this means another season of early wake-up calls and late-night games. But for a team that's used to logging frequent flyer miles, it's just another part of the journey.
