The Los Angeles Rams may have left some fans scratching their heads after waiting until the sixth round to draft a wide receiver, but the offseason is far from over. With superstars Puka Nacua and Davante Adams leading the charge, the Rams boast a formidable top duo. However, depth behind them remains a concern—and that's where a veteran like Stefon Diggs could step in.

According to USA TODAY's Nate Davis, the Rams are one of six prime landing spots for the four-time Pro Bowl wideout. Diggs, who was recently found not guilty of assault and strangulation charges involving his former chef, is now a free agent looking for his next opportunity. And Los Angeles might just be the perfect fit.

Davis notes that the Rams have cap space similar to the Colts, though extending Puka Nacua sooner rather than later could save money long-term. Still, adding Diggs on a short-term deal would be a savvy move for a team squarely in its Super Bowl window. With Nacua and Adams drawing defensive attention, Diggs could thrive as a reliable third option—especially given that Adams battled hamstring issues late last season. Diggs, who lines up both in the slot and out wide, could help ease that workload while providing much-needed depth.

After a tough 2024 campaign in Houston, Diggs rebounded impressively with the New England Patriots last season. He hauled in 85 catches for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns, playing all 17 regular-season games plus four playoff contests. It marked his seventh career 1,000-yard season—proof that at 32, he still has plenty left in the tank.

A precise route runner with elite agility, Diggs would bring a veteran savvy to a Rams offense that's already loaded with weapons. While age may be a talking point, his durability and production speak for themselves. For a team looking to make another deep playoff run, adding a proven playmaker like Diggs could be the missing piece.
