In a heartwarming display of community leadership, Los Angeles Rams safety Kam Curl has teamed up with The RightWay Foundation to help three former foster youth move into a new apartment in Los Angeles' vibrant Koreatown neighborhood. The trio officially settled into their new home on May 1, marking a fresh start made possible by Curl's generosity.

"The way Kam Curl showed up to support us, it means the world," said Franco Vega, founder and CEO of The RightWay Foundation, in an interview with the Rams' official team website. "From the bottom of my heart, Kam doesn't need to do this, the Rams don't need to do this—your goal is to perform and create the best product on the field on Sundays. But for someone like him to give back, it means the world. Kam and his wife have been awesome partners, along with Molly Higgins. Sometimes I feel like the youth, that I don't deserve this. That's just keeping it real. But yeah, this is big for us. We appreciate everything."

This isn't Curl's first time stepping up for foster youth. For the past two seasons, the hard-hitting safety has worn custom cleats supporting The RightWay Foundation during the NFL's annual "My Cause My Cleats" initiative in Week 12—a program that lets players showcase causes close to their hearts on game day. Beyond housing, his donations also fund an "earn and learn" program that financially rewards foster youth for achievements like earning good grades and graduating high school.

"It's just been a blessing to work with them and be able to give back," Curl said. "I'm looking forward to do more."

Adding to the feel-good story, Bob's Discount Furniture—a longtime Rams partner—stepped in to furnish the apartment, continuing their tradition of community support. The company has previously helped outfit teacher's lounges and donated recliners for the LAFD Aerial Headquarters.

It's a powerful reminder that for athletes like Curl, the biggest impact often happens off the field. Whether it's through game-day cleats or year-round partnerships, giving back is a play that never goes out of style.
