The Las Vegas Raiders have one of, if not the, weakest wide receiver groups in the league, so a trade could be coming before the 2026 season.

The Las Vegas Raiders are building real momentum this offseason. With a new head coach in Klint Kubiak and a fresh face under center in Fernando Mendoza, there’s plenty to be excited about in Sin City. Star edge rusher Maxx Crosby even survived the trade rumors that swirled for months, keeping a key defensive anchor in place.

But for all the optimism, one glaring weakness remains: the wide receiver room. In fact, the Raiders might have the worst receiving corps in the entire league. If the season started tomorrow, their top targets would be Tre Tucker, Jack Bech, and Jalen Nailor. That’s not exactly a lineup that strikes fear into opposing secondaries.

For Mendoza to reach his full potential, he’ll need better weapons. So, where can the Raiders find help? Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report suggests a trade for Buffalo Bills wideout Joshua Palmer could be the answer.

Palmer signed a three-year, $29 million deal with the Bills ahead of the 2025 season, but his debut was derailed by injuries. He played in just 12 games, catching 22 passes for 303 yards and zero touchdowns. After a tough year, the Bills might be willing to move on—and the Raiders could bet on a bounce-back in a new environment.

As Knox notes: "Palmer had a few bright moments in the Bills' offense last season, but he wasn't the dependable complementary receiver he had been for the Los Angeles Chargers. He produced a career-low 303 receiving yards, though it's worth noting that he was also limited to 12 games. The 26-year-old battled an ankle injury for much of the season and was eventually placed on injured reserve."

While bigger names like A.J. Brown and Brandon Aiyuk may dominate trade headlines first, Palmer remains a solid, under-the-radar option for receiver-needy teams once the dust settles. For the Raiders, adding a proven veteran like Palmer could be the spark their passing game desperately needs.
