The Las Vegas Raiders are looking at a bright 2026 season, and tight end Brock Bowers is poised to be at the center of it all. After a stellar rookie campaign in 2024, where he racked up nearly 1,200 receiving yards, Bowers faced a setback in 2025, playing only 12 games due to injury. Still, he managed 680 yards, putting him on pace for 963 over a full season. Now, with a revamped offense and fresh talent around him, the former All-Pro is on track to reclaim his elite form and chase his second 1,000-yard season.
What's driving this optimism? A new offensive structure in Las Vegas, headlined by the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, quarterback Fernando Mendoza. The Heisman Trophy winner from 2025 will compete with veteran Kirk Cousins for the starting job, giving Bowers two strong options to work with. Either way, the tight end's role as the go-to target in the passing game looks secure.
But it's not just the quarterback room that's improved. The Raiders have bolstered their ground game, too. An upgraded offensive line sets the stage for running back Ashton Jeanty to average over four yards per carry from the get-go. Rookie Mike Washington Jr., standing at 6-foot-1, adds a powerful secondary option. A stronger run game will open up play-action opportunities, making Bowers even more dangerous in the middle of the field.
On the receiving side, Las Vegas didn't chase a big-name wideout in free agency. Instead, they're leaning on Tre Tucker to build on his 680-yard season as the primary outside receiver. Sixth-round pick Malik Benson will compete with Jalen Nailor for the WR2 spot. That leaves the path wide open for Bowers to dominate targets once again. With his sure hands, vertical threat, and knack for yards after the catch, he's built for a 1,000-yard campaign.
Projections suggest Bowers could see around 140 targets, hauling in at least 100 receptions. Given his career average of 10.65 yards per catch, that formula easily pushes him past the 1,000-yard mark. For Raiders fans and fantasy owners alike, 2026 is shaping up to be a comeback season worth watching.
