The Las Vegas Raiders are making moves this offseason, locking in five of their 10 draft picks as they build toward the 2026 season. The team announced Thursday that a key group of rookies has officially signed, headlined by second-round safety Treydan Stukes.
Stukes, a versatile defensive back out of Arizona, brings a wealth of experience to the Raiders' secondary. Over six seasons with the Wildcats, he appeared in 52 games, racking up 206 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, a sack, seven interceptions, and 35 passes defensed. His ball-hawking skills and veteran savvy make him a promising addition to a defense looking to make noise.
The Raiders didn't stop there. They also inked fourth-round running back Mike Washington Jr., a dynamic playmaker who finished his college career at Arkansas after stints at New Mexico State and Buffalo. Washington amassed 2,914 rushing yards and 26 touchdowns on 587 carries, plus 73 receptions for 470 yards and three scores. His blend of power and receiving ability could provide a spark in the backfield.
In the secondary, the Raiders added depth with fifth-round safety Dalton Johnson and fifth-round cornerback Hezekiah Masses. Johnson, another Arizona product, appeared in 50 games over five seasons, tallying 286 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, three sacks, five interceptions, 10 passes defensed, and seven forced fumbles. Masses, who played at Florida International before transferring to California, recorded 152 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, seven interceptions, 25 passes defensed, and two fumble recoveries in 49 games. Both bring physicality and instincts to the defensive unit.
Rounding out the signings is sixth-round wide receiver Malik Benson, a journeyman with a knack for finding the end zone. Benson started at Hutchinson Community College before stops at Alabama, Florida State, and Oregon. Over his final three seasons, he caught 81 passes for 1,192 yards and eight touchdowns in 41 games, showcasing his big-play potential.
