The Las Vegas Raiders clearly aren't done adding talent from the college ranks—especially if that talent wears Indiana crimson. After making waves by signing quarterback Fernando Mendoza, the Silver and Black have now brought in one of his national champion teammates: wide receiver Jonathan Brady.

Announced Monday, Brady's signing continues a trend of the Raiders raiding the Hoosiers' roster. Brady went undrafted but turned heads during the post-draft evaluation process, earning his shot in Vegas.

Though Brady only played one season at Indiana (2025), he made it count—capping it off with a national championship. His stat line of 14 catches for 115 yards and three touchdowns may not jump off the page, but it's his special teams prowess that has scouts buzzing. Brady averaged a remarkable 16.5 yards per punt return for the Hoosiers, taking one all the way to the house. That kind of explosiveness is exactly what NFL teams covet in the return game.

Brady's path to the pros is a winding one: he also spent time at New Mexico State and Cal, meaning he shares a Golden Bears connection with Mendoza as well. That familiarity could pay dividends as the Raiders look to build chemistry among their new additions.

Brady isn't the only undrafted Hoosier to land in Las Vegas. The Raiders have also signed running back Roman Hemby and wide receiver E.J. Williams Jr., both key contributors to Indiana's championship run. With the 2025 season still fresh in everyone's minds, the Raiders seem to be betting that Bloomington's winning formula translates to the NFL.
