We take a shot at predicting what the Raiders 53-man roster will look like come the regular season.

The Las Vegas Raiders have assembled their 90-man offseason roster, and the countdown to the regular season is officially on. As the team gears up for the heart of their offseason program, the battle for a spot on the initial 53-man roster is heating up. With a mix of seasoned veterans and promising newcomers, this year's squad is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing in recent memory. Let's dive into our projection for what the final roster might look like when the dust settles.

Offensive Playmakers
The Raiders are loading up on talent in the backfield and at receiver. Running backs Ashton Jeanty, Connor Heyward (who can also play fullback), Mike Washington Jr., and Roman Hemby are all projected to make the cut, offering a versatile ground game. At wide receiver, Jack Bech, Tre Tucker, Jalen Nailor, Dont'e Thornton, and Malik Benson bring speed and depth to the passing attack. However, it's a tough break for Chase Roberts, Dareke Young, Brenden Rice, and several others who are expected to be left off the roster.

Tight End and Offensive Line
The tight end room is stacked with Brock Bowers, Michael Mayer, Ian Thomas, and Carter Runyon all securing spots. Up front, the offensive line looks solid with Kolton Miller, Caleb Rogers, Tyler Linderbaum, Jackson Powers-Johnson, DJ Glaze, Charles Grant, Spencer Burford, Jordan Meredith, Trey Kuhn III, and Niklas Henning. Players like Dalton Wagner and Atonio Mafi, among others, will have to wait for another opportunity.

Defensive Front Seven
On the defensive line, Adam Butler, JJ Pegues, Tonka Hemingway, Jonah Laulu, Thomas Booker, and Brandon Cleveland are expected to anchor the trenches. Edge rushers Maxx Crosby, Malcolm Koonce, Kwity Paye, and Keyron Crawford form a formidable pass-rushing unit. At linebacker, Quay Walker, Nakobi Dean, Tommy Eichenberg, Cody Lindenberg, and Xavien Sorey Jr. bring a mix of experience and youthful energy.

Secondary and Special Teams
The secondary features Eric Stokes, Darien Porter, Taron Johnson, Jermod McCoy, and Hezekiah Masses at cornerback, while Jeremy Chinn, Treydan Stukes, Dalton Johnson, and Isaiah Pola-Mao hold down the safety positions. Specialists include punter AJ Cole, kicker Kansei Matsuzawa, and long snapper Tyler Duzanski, with Matt Gay and Alex Ward on the outside looking in.

With 16 rookies projected to make the squad, this Raiders roster is brimming with fresh talent and potential. As training camp unfolds, keep an eye on these players as they vie to don the Silver and Black on game day.
