Fernando Mendoza's social media of choice is not the same as other 2026 NFL Draft prospects.

Mendoza is a LinkedIn guy, and now he's set to join the Las Vegas Raiders as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

After all, Mendoza went to the University of California as a business student. He continued to pursue internships even while playing football. He certainly didn't abandon his business degree goals when he transferred to Indiana University.

All throughout, he has kept his LinkedIn page updated.

He has about 220,000 followers on the platform prior to the draft.

His bio, as of Thursday pre-draft, led off with the words, "NFL Draft Prospect," followed by, "Indiana University Football."

His story is awesome, especially when you include his academic and professional commitment -- which will be put to the side as he comes to the NFL to be the Raiders' franchise quarterback, but also seems like the kind of thing Mendoza won't permanently leave in the past.

Mendoza still posts frequently on his LinkedIn, including launching a foundation with this post on the morning of the NFL Draft's first round:

Best names in the draft: Ephesians Prysock | R Mason Thomas | DeVonta Smith | Zxavian Harris

It'll be fun to follow how much Mendoza uses his LinkedIn now that he's in the NFL.

But one thing is for sure -- he better update that bio.

Shoot, by the time you read this, he may have already done so.
