Manchester United's promising young goalkeeper Radek Vitek has opened up about his future as his impressive loan spell at Bristol City reaches its conclusion. The 22-year-old shot-stopper has been a revelation this season, stepping up when called upon and proving his mettle in the Championship.

Vitek joined Bristol City last summer initially as cover for injured first-choice keeper Max O'Leary. But when opportunity knocked, he answered emphatically—keeping his spot in the starting XI even after O'Leary returned to full fitness. His consistent performances have made him a fan favorite at Ashton Gate, and it's easy to see why.

Under former boss Gerhard Struber and his replacement, veteran manager Roy Hodgson, Vitek has been a reliable presence between the posts. In 40 Championship appearances, he's kept an impressive 11 clean sheets—a stat that speaks volumes about his composure and shot-stopping ability. It's no surprise that Bristol City are eager to keep him beyond this season, but the final decision rests with Manchester United, who will likely assess their goalkeeper depth during the summer transfer window.

With Bristol City set to face Stoke City this weekend, Vitek admitted that it could be his last time walking out at Ashton Gate in the club's colors. Speaking to Bristol Live, he remained focused on the task at hand but acknowledged the uncertainty ahead.

"At the moment, it's really hard to tell for me," Vitek said. "I'm focusing on the next game because I want to have a proper game tomorrow, win, and then we will see what the future holds."

His immediate plan is clear: return to Manchester United and hear what the club has in mind. "We will see what the options will be and what Manchester United will want to do with me—if they want to keep me there, sell me, or loan me out again," he explained.

When asked about a potential return to Bristol City, Vitek didn't rule it out. "At the moment, I can't really speak much about the future because I don't even know. It's really hard, but I've enjoyed every moment here. I really like the club. We will see."

He added a heartfelt note for the fans who have supported him throughout his loan stint: "The fans have been absolutely fantastic with me the whole time."

For now, Vitek's focus remains on finishing the season strong. But with his stock rising and clubs sure to take notice, this young goalkeeper's future looks bright—whether that's at Old Trafford or elsewhere.
