ESPN's report, citing sources who spoke on condition of anonymity, suggests that Soccer Holdings is seeking additional investment to bolster Racing's standing in a league where growth is accelerating. The club's recent run includes a historic first-ever playoff appearance and a young, dynamic roster that just toppled the league's top team. It's a moment of momentum—and the owners want to capitalize on it.

A Racing spokesperson clarified to The Courier Journal that no equity partner is currently lined up. If an investor is approved, Soccer Holdings would retain its controlling interest and keep the team in Louisville.
