Quaker Valley's boys track and field team didn't just win another championship—they made history. For the third straight season, the Quakers claimed the WPIAL 2A team title, cementing their place as a dynasty in high school track and field.

The three-peat became reality on Tuesday, May 5, at Confluence Financial Partners Stadium in McMurray, where Quaker Valley swept past Greensburg Central Catholic, North Catholic, and Riverview. The victory was a testament to the team's depth, determination, and ability to rise to the occasion when it matters most.

Senior Xander Vescio, a key contributor to the Quakers' success, reflected on the journey. "My freshman year, we weren't able to get the job done, but ever since then, we learned from our past experiences," Vescio said. "But ever since that loss, we have had some great guys who have come up and did their part. We are all excited that we were able to come out today and win another title."

Vescio played a pivotal role in the team's victory, taking first place in the 110-meter hurdles. It was a particularly meaningful win for the senior, who had previously competed behind the now-graduated Davin Gartley in that event. His growth and leadership exemplify the team culture that has fueled Quaker Valley's sustained excellence.
