Purdue basketball fans, get your calendars ready—the Boilermakers' home and away schedule for the upcoming season is officially here.
Coming off a dominant stretch that includes two Big Ten regular-season titles in the last four years and last season's Big Ten Tournament championship, Purdue is setting its sights on a 25th conference crown. The road to glory is packed with marquee matchups and familiar rivalries.
First, the in-state showdown that always delivers: Purdue will face Indiana twice, once at the iconic Mackey Arena and once at Assembly Hall. The rivalry is alive and well, and these games are sure to bring the heat.
The Boilermakers will also renew acquaintances with Illinois, traveling to Champaign after hosting the Fighting Illini last season—a game Purdue dropped at Mackey. Expect a fired-up crowd ready to turn the tables.
For the fourth straight year, Purdue is heading to the Garden State to take on Rutgers, but this time the Scarlet Knights will also visit West Lafayette, giving Boilermaker fans a chance to see both sides of this budding rivalry.
Out west, Purdue's road trip avoids the California schools this time around. Instead, the Boilermakers will face Oregon and Washington, a repeat of the cross-country journey from two seasons ago. These games will test the team's stamina and depth.
Speaking of tests, the road doesn't get any easier. Last year, Purdue managed to avoid traveling to both Michigan schools, but this season is a different story. Both Michigan State and Michigan—early favorites in the Big Ten—will host Purdue in single matchups. The Spartans and Wolverines are poised for strong campaigns, so these will be pivotal contests.
Minnesota and Penn State are also solo road trips for the Boilermakers. While both programs have struggled in recent years, Purdue knows better than to take any game lightly—especially after dropping its last visit to Penn State to open Big Ten play in 2024-25. Those long travel days add extra pressure.
Back at Mackey Arena, the home slate is loaded. Purdue will host Ohio State, Nebraska, and Northwestern—teams that have given the Boilermakers trouble on the road in recent seasons. Iowa, Maryland, and both California programs (UCLA and USC) will also make the trip to West Lafayette for their only regular-season meetings with Purdue.
With a mix of revenge games, rivalry battles, and cross-country challenges, this schedule is built for an exciting season. Whether you're cheering from the stands or repping your gear at home, it's time to get ready for Boilermaker basketball.
